never uploaded these to bandcamp over the summer. this was what I posted on instagram circa may 2023:

I made an album’s worth of footwork inspired / “experimental trap” tunes earlier in the year. The results were mixed. I have decided to indulge in some quick, spirited, unpolished fun rather than my typical galaxy brained album indulgence.

I’ll have a few tracks on each Saturn Bootleg Sampler. Once a week; for an undetermined amount of weeks. I can guarantee no less than three lil releases and no more than six. I usually get gassed up when I put something into the world so I may have some fresh high-BPM summer music as we go on.

I am enamored with this polymath internet fella named Tim Rogers. He and his colleagues are obsessed with the failed Sega Saturn console. I have never played a Saturn game, but I like that they like it. This is the origin of the title.

The music hardly mixed, totally unmastered, and for the grimiest, filthiest, dancefloor, and/or a gentle cybernetic menu of a Dreamcast game. Reed LeBere is my master of aesthetics.

I am, for all intents and purposes, cleaning house — hard at work on a new project with a new name. I’ve been solitarily playing acoustic open mics, workshopping sung-songs and destroying my friends’ DMs with demos and voice memos.
